Ans-

Normally children are in supportive cast after surgery for a period of 6 weeks after which the cast is off and the process of therapy is started rigorously,

in all surgeries children loose a little muscular power and therefore it makes sense to be doing intensive therapy even before the surgery ,typically the total period which the child needs post surgery to get good results of surgery is approximately an year so before we need to take decision on when to do surgery all members of the team should be geared to working hard for a period of at least 1 year
